AOP Luberon – Vintage: 2022, 2024
This delicate cuvée is a blend of Cinsault and mature Grenache, whose home is the clay-limestone soil of our vineyard’s north-south facing slopes.
This vintage was produced under excellent conditions. The early harvest enabled us to work entirely with indigenous yeasts from our land. We were also able to prepare a “pied de cuve” before the harvest. Due to our oenologist, Pascal’s expertise and empathy with nature, careful consideration was given to the memory of water throughout the winemaking process.
Our rosé has a crystal pink robe with hints of gold. The nose is complex, opening with generous notes of peony and wild strawberry, followed by a subtle fragrance of citrus fruit. The palate is structured and full-flavoured with illuminating depths, layered with crisp, clear fruits, and balanced by a beautiful finish of freshness. This vintage has enabled us to produce a refreshingly different and enchanting wine that creates a new pathway for the classical rosé.
This rosé would be ideal with a lightly pan-fried salmon prepared with a touch of Sichuan pepper. For dessert, it would deliciously marry with a tutti-frutti meringue sabayon with a vine peach coulis. And in the heat of summer, chilled, it is perfect for a P’tit picnic.
Serving temperature: 12° to 14°.
